it's the little things that happen during the day which affects our mood. today i met a j1 tracker, and he greeted my cheerfully. it's kinda sweet that he actually knows my name, to think that i have only been to countable number of track trainings this year.

a casual, friendly greeting can actually brightens up one day and have an unthinkable impact on someone. it's those insignificant events which happens around us that affects our day. although the major event makes up the main picture of the day, it's the little little things that complete the full picture.

so don't under estimate the power we have to influence someone's mood. so let's start doing good deeds everyday by spreading the cheer around =)

i've been asking a few people for their comments and opinions on some things.. and i realised that none of them have been providing me the answer that i was searching for- until today. my disciple gave me her views.. and that was my exact sentiments. not that im searching for an answer that tallies with my feelings.. but rather i just need that assurance to my thoughts. i just needed somebody to tell me that everything is fine and that i should listen to myself.

yet sometimes i wonder why does it bother me? am i thinking too much? well.. whatever it is.. i'll just let nature take its course.

the "WEIRD" thought
people tend to term the things or people that they don't understand as "weird". everyone shares different definition of "weird". just because someone doesn't think like the way we do doesn't make them any "weirder" from us. have you ever wonder that perhaps we are the "weird" ones to them?

we just because we haven't encounter someone of a particular character before or a personality that we can't click with doesn't mean that they are weird. just because something isn't like the majority doesn't mean that it is freaky.

different does not equate to weird.

i don't believe this. greece won euro. negative soccer actually triump over exciting play. gosh. the reason why greece won their matches is not because they played well, but rather the other team played badly. other than troy and the olympics, i don't think there's anything i like about the greeks. sigh. where is justice? what happened to exciting play?

yup.. greece won czech 1-0. unexpected. as a fan of exciting soccer, i would definitely support portugal during the finals.. unless of course they play worse than liverpool. my friends came up with some funny theories on how to bet on games by analysing weather. it's really hilarious, but my friend won yesterday.

euro aside, i really miss catching up with many of my friends. it's been a lonnggg time since i last caught up with them. the world that we're living in is too fast-paced. when will we ever get the chance to take a break off our hectic schedule, sit down and enjoy a cup of latte, observe the passer-bys, listen to the busy traffic and appreciate the friend sitting opposite us? perhaps only until we have learned to waste time.
