musicals
i finally got to watch my first real musical. in fact i caught 2 this term. phantom of the opera and les mis. both are really good. and i think these are the 2 musicals people should really watch when they are in london. and that they should not watch any other musicals without watching this 2 first. phantom is brilliant. it's so good that i think i want to watch it again. i was sitting at the upper tier. what a waste! now i know where to sit the next time. haha. hmm.. no wonder the musicals here have their own theatres and showing everyday except sundays. the tickets always sell! i guess people dont get bored of musicals. or that they dont get bored of it so quickly. and musicals are good for dates too. hahaha.
i think most of the lse pple are in somewhere of europe now. hope they are having lots of fun =) hmm.. im still here in chilly london. tmr is bro's birthday! looking forward to it ;) i got no mood for books. as always. this is bad. haha.

the weather has been really nasty this week. and it's quite a mood spoiler. i dont really want to go out anymore after coming back to my room. my room is quite cold too. the heater sux. i dont understand how people can survive when they have to spend half their lives enduring the cold. i dont mind low temperatures, strong winds are the killer! sometimes the wind gets so strong i feel as though i will get blown away. suxxx.
weather aside.. i wonder if easter is a big thing here. all the supermarkets are selling chocolate easter eggs, when easter is only 1 month later. hmm.. what exactly do pple do on easter? somehow easter reminds me of rabbits and eggs. hahah.

it's already mid-march but the weather is still cold. the only tinge of warmth that i feel is from stronger sunlights. but the temperature is still so low. and the wind speed is so high. i thought this week would be double digit temperatures, but it's still 0 to 4 degrees celcius. When is spring gonna come?

movies!
i've been watching movies of different 'styles' lately. their genres are still pretty much the same, romance, i guess. but rather it's the underlying meaning behind the films that stands out from the rest. it's not those typical cheesy feel-good/dating movie, where the female and male lead ends up together.
watched before sunset and chocolat this week. before sunset is basically a talking film where 2 people talk about how their lives have changed over the years. sounds boring right? in fact when i was watching the movie, i was thinking "this movie is all talking. it's over-rated!" then i understood the true meaning behind the conversation. it's actually quite sad. chocolat was good. johnny depp was irresistably charming in it. but looks aside, this movie is about "sinful indulgence" and the pursue of happiness.
both movies are quite good. very interesting, very different from the typical romantic films. do watch them when you have the time. its a treat to watch a good movie once in a while =)

the essay is still not done yet! my teacher kindly postponed the deadline till one week later... so now i got more time to plan and write the essay. but the postponement doesnt help much.. coz i can't seem to find relevant readings for it. sigh. i guess im not so much of an essay person. ok. i aim to finish it by wed. i will. i shall. i must! hopefully tmr's class will help ALOT in the topic.. if not i will have to switch topic. hate it when that happens. it just shows that im indecisive.
anw.. it has been a long week. my back is aching from yesterday's london games. not like i did a lot or played vigorously. its probably due to the cold and the fact that i didnt really stretch and wasnt warmed up properly. and sitting down in front of the laptop everyday also causing pain to my lower back. i used to get that during my exam periods. sigh. shall do more stretches and try to walk around more rather than keep sitting down in my small and pathetic room. i need a back massage.
i've been eating so much i am growing fatter. i can tell! i know it! sux. im sound like a whiny bimbo. how irritating is that. but oh well.. that aside.. i can't wait for the term to end! tmr is the last class of my option module. yes! oh no i forgot to do critical analysis. haha. must i? hmmm.
anw.. its quite scary how pple say me and my 2nd bro look so alike that we can be twins and that our mannerisms are so similar! like the way we talk and behave, and even the way we run and play sports! oh no. so scary! its like dna replica! come and think about it i've never play bball with bro before. haha. i wanna play ball!!
