November is slowly fading away for the arrival of winter. The days are starting to get shorter, and by 4pm the cars on the streets would already have their headlights on. This month has passed by rather quickly, and today I felt as though the school term has already drained the most out of me. The "burnt out" effect is probably due to all that essay writing over the weekend, as I was determined to get it over and done with before I start slacking off towards the end of term. Im a believer of "work hard now and play harder later", hence last minute rushing is a no no for me when it comes to work.

Im really looking forward to my favourite month of the year. My personal tutor was telling me the other day that even the pple in middle east celebrates xmas. December is such a happy month. I remembered how everyone in London greeted each other with "merry xmas" despite it being only the first week of dec. the festive joy is really contagious.. and i can't help but smile everytime i think of the days left before i fly home =)

i miss espn very very much! it's quite pathetic how i have to watch match highlights on youtube.. poor quality and small screen. argh! just caught the arsenal vs newcastle highlights and i really feel the pain for the players. so many pretty passes and chances created and yet the ball just cant seem to find the net. it made me wonder if i would rather watch arsenal play crappily and win or play beautiful and risk that precious 3 points. sigh. but henry's free kick was just perfect. im so going emirates.

anw.. borough market is the place for food lovers. i must go back there again. i still have an essay to clear and econs exercises to clear before the term closes. hmm i aim to finish my essay by this week. sounds a little ambitious but i really want to get it over and done with. principles of the welfare state is noo fun. and i still have a project to clear and spss to master. yucks.

im pretty inspired to visit the british museum after meeting a young historian in oxford. he made me realised the importance of history and all that 'modern-world' history that i've studied in secondary school are nothing but 'current affairs'. now i feel really ashamed of myself and the A1 that i got for combined humanities in o levels is really not worth mentioning.

anw.. oxford is a really pretty place but i guess i don't have the calibre to study in oxbridge. here i am whining about my 1500 essay when they have to write 3000 word essays WEEKLY, 10000 word thesis and dissertations. i doubt i can survive that. but it did get me into thinking about doing masters there. haha.

life has been rather good.. will try to fit cambridge and emirates stadium into one of the weekends before term closes. right now i just need to clear my work for the term as well as other mundane stuffs before looking forward to xmas =)
