It only just occured to me that next week would be my last week here in Singapore before I fly back to UK. I'm not sure if all the stuff that I would like to bring over to UK would fit into my suitcase, but I'll try. Food, home tools and survival kit aka DVDs have already taken up more than half the space, and I really wonder how I am going to squeeze in all my shoes and clothes and toiletries. I should be an expert in packing by now, after so many years of experience. I just hope that I can find enough gaps and space to squeeze in an extra pair of shoes, another pair of jeans and more dvds =)

Yesterday marked the last day of my internship. i have thought my leaving would be a rather quiet and unnoticed one. Afterall, i've been nothing more but just an intern. And next week, a new part-timer hired to replace the CSO on maternity leave will take the desk that I have sat on for the past 8 weeks. Thus, I was rather surprised that some of my colleagues on secondment actually prepared a farewell gift for me and we even took farewell shots. Very very sweet of them indeed.
This time round, when my colleagues asked for my email add, I actually do hope that we keep in contact, because I am very interested to know where they will be in a few years time. In fact, I wonder where I will be.
